Challenge
As the transition to electric mobility accelerates, building a strong charging network is a critical challenge—especially in urban centers where the existing plug-in charging infrastructure is hard to keep up with the growing number of electric cars it hosts. This was exactly the situation faced by one of our charging operator client in Azerbaijan, who was planning to install chargers in a shopping mall's underground parking lot.
His two sites required a tailored solution that could deploy multiple DC chargers alongside space-constrained parking spots. As an operator with a mature software backend, the client also needed to ensure that all EV chargers could be seamlessly connected to his system for centralized management—with smart power allocation and local payment functions—while keeping the expansion costs low.
Our Solution
GRASEN deployed the S960 Distributed Charging System to site A & site B- the fastest commercial EV charging solutions for CPOs with maximum efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
Site A:
240kW Power Cabinet with 6 Charging Dispensers, serving up to 12 EVs simultaneously
Site B:
320kW Power Cabinet with 8 Charging Dispensers, serving up to 16 EVs simultaneously
Combined with our client's software backend, we have achieved the following:
Smart Energy Management:
The system dynamically utilize all available power for EV charging based on real-time needs, enabling efficient operation and lower energy costs.
Enhanced User Experience:
Drivers enjoy a seamless charging journey—from charging to local online payment.
Remote Monitoring And Maintenance:
Issues can be diagnosed and downtime reduced remotely via a centralized management platform.
S960 Distributed Charging System
Ultra-fast Charging
With a centralized Power cabinet(240KW-3.2MW) and multiple distributed charging dispensers(up to 12 dispensers, 24 plugs) , S960 provides the flexibility to add more power and more charging plugs as needed.
Easy to Scale
The configuration can be tailored to your site according to grid capacity, parking space availability, power requirements, and future expansion needs. A power cabinet can be equipped with 1 -24 charging modules in 40kW granularity. One power cabinet can deliver power to 1–12 charging dispensers, supporting up to 24 EVs charging simultaneously. To serve all types of electric cars, the charging plug is compatible with all global standards: CCS1, CCS2, CHAdeMO, NACS and GBT.
Reliable Operation
Each charging module and dispenser can be isolated and serviced independently, ensuring that a failure or shutdown at one point does not affect the continued operation of the rest - thereby maximizing uptime.
To maximizes the utilization of available power, a dynamic power distribution function is provided. It manages on-site power loads to dynamically allocate all available power for EV charging.
