The megawatt charging solution represent a breakthrough technology in EV charging, specifically bulit to serve heavy-duty electric vehicles such as trucks, buses, ships, and commercial fleets. These large vehicles require higher power and shorter charging time than passenger cars. With its minute-level charging capability, the megawatt charging system can support extended range and significantly enhances the operational efficiency of commercial vehicles. Integrating cutting-edge technologies including power electronics, battery management, cooling system, and communication, this system delivers a all-in-one solution for ultra-fast charging.
Advantages of Megawatt Charging Solution
Cuts charging time from hours to minutes
This system can cut charging times for large electric vehicles. For example, a 1000 kWh e-truck can be fully charged in just 30 minutes with this system, while normal DC chargers take hours. Faster charging means less waiting and more driving—translating directly into improved operational efficiency and more operational hours.
Enhanced Logistics and Transit Efficiency
In logistics and public transportation, megawatt charging means higher fleet efficiency. Rapid replenishment keeps vehicles moving and minimizes charging-related delays.
Scalable and Future-ready
As demands increase, the megawatt charging system can be expanded easily.
The power cabinet features a modular design. When future upgrades to enhance station service capacity are required, it can be done simply by adding or replacing higher-power charging modules in the power cabinet. This means the upgrade and expansion process requires no civil construction work and involves no replacement of terminal equipment, enabling rapid completion of upgrades.
As technological advancements continually push the boundaries of electric transportation, this system evolves to meet the needs of hyperscale charging scenarios.
Lower Overall Operating Costs
The operational cost advantage of modular charging stations stems from their centralized management and intelligent scheduling design. Compared to traditional solutions, the per-station cost of modular ultra-fast charging is 30% below the industry average, substantially reducing initial site construction investment and enabling rapid deployment. When future power upgrades are required, CPOs won't need to replace the core infrastructure. Expansion is as simple as adding in more charging modules. This end-to-end cost optimization—from construction and operation to future upgrades—makes modular EV charging stations the most economical ultra-fast charging solution.
GRASEN proudly introduces our megawatt-class charging system, the STELLA 960. When two S960 power cabinets are connected in parallel, maximum output power reaches 3200kW. This makes it ideal for heavy-duty electric vehicles—including trucks, utility vehicles, ships, and aircraft—supporting large-scale electric transportation needs.

Megawatt Charging Application
Long-Distance Trucking & Logistics
Megawatt-class ultra-fast charging is intended for use primarily in logistics hubs, as well as on highways for electric heavy-duty trucks to charge at high efficiencies. This level of charging will allow a truck to fully recharge in approximately 15 minutes — bringing the convenience of recharging to a level that is close to the convenience of refueling a diesel vehicle. This contributes to higher fleet availability and revenue generated from the use of the truck.
Marine & Mine Site Operations
At enclosed or semi-enclosed sites, like ports and mines, vehicles operate continuously while adhering to very stringent environmental regulations. Utilising megawatt-class ultra-fast charging provides an opportunity for the vehicle to recharge during short periods of inactivity — for example, when a ship is being loaded, or when a truck is waiting for a ship to be loaded — thus allowing for near-continuous operation with minimal downtime.
Public Transit & Long-Distance Transit
Intercity electric buses must recharge very quickly during their brief stops at service areas, in order to stay on schedule. Using megawatt charging will allow an electric bus to recharge in less than one hour, compared to the previous process of approximately one-to-two hours. Thus, there is less downtime for the electric bus during its operation.
